First I would like to point out that the picture of me to the left was taken by my dad (Lee Hannibal). Who started me in photography roughly around the age of 8 by teaching me how to make my own little pinhole camera and the magic of the dark room, instantly becoming my first photography hero.

I shoot freelance weddings, sports, head-shots, nature/wildlife, portraits, fine art, parties/events, stock, aerial & commercial product photography.

For 3 years I worked as the photo editor & photojournalist at the Sentinel Newspaper in Coeur d’Alene ID, 4 years as photojournalist for The Rathdrum Star Newspaper and 2 years as photographer for the College Relations Department at North Idaho College. During which time I won 9 awards from the Society of Professional Journalism. My work has been in galleries in Oregon, California, Washington, Florida, Idaho, Canada, and Switzerland. My photography has been published over 100 times in over 30 publications.

I think one of the best times for taking pictures can be when the weather is at it's worst. You are instantly in a higher class of hardcore shutter addicts. Who brave the elements to find that amazing photo of natures wrath. It forces you to use all the skills you posses to make the conditions work for you instead of against you. Helping you stay in that groove. On that edge, that only the masters can balance upon.

I use a Full Frame Nikon D3 with 70-200mm VR f/2.8, 24-70mm f/2.8, 28-300mm VC f/3.5-6.3, 50mm f/1.8, 8mm f/4 fish eye, 1.7x teleconverter, SB-900 flash, two SB-600 flashes, flash stands, umbrellas, sturdy tripod and monopod.
